| dc.description.abstract | El propósito fundamental del presente ensayo se trata de describir la cultura digital
y su relación con la formación docente universitaria. La metodología se enmarca en un
estudio documental, sustentado en las perspectivas de autores relevantes en el ámbito
de la educación y el cambio de paradigma ante la cultura digital actual. Se fundamenta
en el contexto educativo actual, ante lo que enfrenta un desafío crucial, al integrar
las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) en sus prácticas
pedagógicas. Este ensayo explora la relación entre la cultura digital y la formación
docente, destacando la importancia de que los profesores universitarios desarrollen
competencias digitales sólidas para aprovechar al máximo las oportunidades que ofrecen
las TIC en el ámbito educativo. Se analizarán los beneficios de la integración de las
TIC en la enseñanza universitaria, así como los desafíos que enfrentan los docentes en
este proceso. Enfatizando las posibles estrategias para fomentar el desarrollo de una
cultura digital en las instituciones de educación superior.

with university teacher training. The methodology is based on a documentary study,
supported by the perspectives of relevant authors in the field of education and the
paradigm shift in the face of today’s digital culture. It is based on the current
educational context, which faces a crucial challenge in integrating information and
communication technologies (ICT) into its pedagogical practices. This essay explores
the relationship between digital culture and teacher training, highlighting the
importance of university professors developing solid digital skills to make the most
of the opportunities offered by ICT in the educational field. The benefits of
integrating ICT in university teaching will be analyzed, as well as the challenges
faced by teachers in this process. Emphasizing the possible strategies to promote the
