dc.description.abstractEn esta investigación realizada en el municipio de Guapi, Costa Pacífica del Departamento del Cauca – Colombia, se analizan las connotaciones bioculturales que representan las azoteas como práctica agrícola ancestral de la gente negra del municipio. Las azoteas son estructuras elevadas del suelo para el control de inundaciones producto de las mareas o el ataque de animales; se siembran plantas de aliño y medicinales. Los resultados muestran que no sólo se siembra el recurso vegetal, sino también cultura e identidad, en un espacio-práctica donde convergen universos culturales como la cocina tradicional, la medicina ancestral, lo político-organizativo y lo etnoeducativo.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1This research carried out in the municipality of Guapi, Pacific Coast of the Department of Cauca - Colombia, the biocultural connotations that rooftops represent as an ancestral agricultural practice of the black people of the municipality are analyzed from ethnobotany. The roofs are structures raised from the ground to control flooding as result of the flow of the tides or the attack of domestic animals; They are cultivated seasoning and medicinal or remedy plants. The results show that not only the plant resource is planted, but also culture and identity, in a space-practice where cultural universes such as traditional cuisine, ancestral medicine, the political-organizational and the ethno-educational aspects converge.es_VE
