independencia. Una pedagogía histórica rubricada
con el término totalidad.

Resumen en otro Idioma | I am aware that the best treatment that should be given to a writer is, without ambiguity or detours, to analyze his work to correspond or differ on it. Sinking, then, the heels in the letter of Mario Briceño Iragorry, we can understand the sides where the wind must blow when referring to the country’s history. From his pen came formidable ideas with a view to giving shape and substance to an indispensable discipline to discover the cultural breeding ground of a rugged nation from the historiographical perspective in the port of romanticism and moth-eaten military heroism. It is interesting to point out that Mario Briceño Iragorry began the task by modeling a method to scrutinize the past of a society like the Venezuelan one that smells of gunpowder on all four sides. His eagerness for heuristics, criticism and the cultural sense of history, place him as the helmsman of the pedagogical ship that forces us to look through geopoetic lenses at a homeland fractured by the designer pens of cults and the traces of independence. A historical pedagogy signed with the term totality. |
