Resumen
El objetivo de esta investigación es evaluar el desempeño de “la nueva fase del MERCOSUR” en tres áreas: comercio, integración productiva y agenda social, con el fin de determinar en cuál de las dos etapas del regionalismo latinoamericano (post-liberal o post-hegemónico) se ubica. El trabajo sustentado en una metodología documental concluye que el nuevo MERCOSUR se ajusta de mejor manera a los supuestos que caracterizan al regionalismo post- hegemónico.
