sociedad venezolana. | es_VE |

dc.description.abstract1 | Traditionally, the “Venezuelan official discourse” on the economy alludes
to this discipline as an entity outside the world, as something metasocial. On the
other hand, the intellectual speech of the orthodox historical materialism always
subordinates economics to the material issue, and the social aspect ends as
a mere ideological epiphenomenon of the economic dynamics. Indeed, they
are reductionist languages, which dissociate in great measure all economic
phenomenon about explanations of social and cultural nature. This paper
constitutes an inquiry to consider, in an alternative way, the economic question
in the Venezuelan society, that is to say, as a subject of the anthropological
science. We take the example from Venezuelan anthropologist Gustavo Martin,
as an innovating Marxist in this project; thus, the main purpose of this paper is
to articulate his main ideas to get the attention on the sociocultural matter as
generative of the economic issue, and with this epistemological line, study the
possibility of an economic anthropology for the Venezuelan society. | es_VE |
