dc.description.abstractEn este artículo examinaremos dos temas interrelacionados para analizar las posibilidades de concretar la integración sudamericana: los objetivos del proyecto CSN/UNASUR y la tecnología de la integración que se estableció para alcanzar tales metas. La UNASUR surgió con una amplia y variada agenda que fue incrementándose aunmás posteriormente. Sin embargo, la tecnología de la integración permaneció sin ser precisada paramuchos de sus objetivos. Se concluye que el contar con una tecnología de la integración adecuada es una condición necesaria (aunque no suficiente) para que el proceso pueda alcanzar las metas propuestas y, por lo tanto, la falta de una clara determinación de objetivos,medios y cronogramas de ejecución incrementa las dudas sobre la efectiva concreción de los fines del proceso de integración sudamericano.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1In this article we will examine two subjects that are inter-related to analyze the possibilities tomaterialize the SouthAmerican integration: the objectives of the CSN/UNASUR project and the technology of integration that was established to reach those aims. The UNASUR was born with a wide and varied agenda that was increased even more afterwards. Nevertheless, the technology of integration remained imprecise for many of its objectives. It concludes that counting on an adequate technology of integration is a necessary condition (although not sufficient) to fulfill the goals proposed and, as a consequence, the lack of a clear determination of objectives,means and implementation chronograms increases the doubts about the effective materialization of the objectives of the SouthAmerican integration process.es_VE
