Aproximación interpretativa de dos ceramios de Tunan–Paramonga (Lima – Perú)

Résumé
La cerámica jugó un papel muy importante durante el período prehispánico, en la vida cotidiana y en la religión, por ser soporte de imágenes relacionadas con el panteón andino. Los dos ceramios escogidos para fines investigativos pertenecen al estilo Pativilca, propios de los valles ubicados entre los ríos Fortaleza y Pativilca en la costa nor-central peruana. Cronológicamente los ceramios se ubican entre la fase 3 del horizonte medio, 800 d.C y el periodo intermedio tardío 900-1476 d.C. Las imágenes plasmadas en ambos ceramios fueron representadas por culturas ubicadas en la costa peruana y según nuestra interpretación basada en fuentes etnohistóricas y rituales las mismas representan el inicio de la siembra, la diosa Pachamama y la cosecha de maíz y yuca. Ambas escenas representan el inicio y el cierre del ciclo agrícola.

| Resumen en otro Idioma | Ceramics plays an important role during the prehispanic period in both daily life and in religion bearing as it does the portrayal of images in the Andean pantheon. The two pieces chosen for this research are Pativilca in style, coming from the valleys of the Fortaleza and Pativilca rivers on the north central Peruvian coast. Chronologically the pieces fall between phase 3 of the middle period or about 800 A.D. and the late intermediate from 900 to 1476 A.D. The images appearing on both pieces were the work of cultures which were located on the Peruvian coast, and according to our estimation based on ethnohistorical accounts and rituals they portray the beginning of the sowing season with the goddess Pachamama and the harvest of corn and manioc. Both the scenes portray the beginning and the end of the agricultural cycle. |
