dc.description.abstractEste artículo indaga en las relaciones de la narrativa venezolana contemporánea con la política a traves de la crisis que ha experimentado Venezuela a partir de la fractura de la democracia representativa. Sucesos como el Caracazo evidenciaron esa fractura. Aunque se traza una caracterizacion general de esta narrativa venezolana y su relacion con la crisis política, esta primera parte del artículo se detiene en El pez de los sueños, novela del escritor Wilfredo Machado, considerada de singular relevancia.
