Abstract
En este artículo se ofrece un recorrido histórico-transversal entre la libertad de pensamiento, el surgimiento de la imprenta y la aparición definitiva de normas sobre Propiedad Intelectual en Venezuela. Se parte de las ideas que definen o caracterizan a la sociedad venezolana de comienzos del siglo XIX, para luego referir a la transversalidad mencionada y precisar el tratamiento constitucional y la normativa especial primigenia sobre la materia, demostrando así la importancia que desde tiempos muy próximos a la conformación del Estado venezolano, ha tenido la regulación sobre la materia.

This historical tour starts with the ideas that define and characterize the Venezuelan society of the early nineteenth century, and then it makes reference to the already mentioned transversality in order to clarify the constitutional and primitive special legislation on the subject, demonstrating the importance that since the creation of the Venezuelan State has had the regulation on the subject. |
