Abstract
En la siguiente investigación se presenta la caracterización Etnobotánica y
Etnomédica de la especie Aloysia citriodora Palau, perteneciente a la familia
Verbenaceae, resultante de una exploración etnobotánica realizada entre el 2009 y el
2010 en la población de Cacute del municipio Rangel del Estado Mérida-Venezuela.
Se describe la especie desde el punto de vista botánico y se incorporan los usos,
partes utilizadas y las formas de preparación con fines terapéuticos.

This is the result of an ethnobotanical exploration made from 2009 to 2010 in the Cacute population to the Rangel Municipality of Mérida state. This research describes the specie from a botanical point of view and it includes the plant uses, those parts of the plant which were employed for the research and the different ways to prepare the plant with therapeutic purposes. |
