| dc.description.abstract1 | This article aims to problematize the colonial perspective regarding an Indic history divided into three “ages”: an ancient Vedic golden age, an Islamic medieval period with brutal rulers, and another with leaders of a Christian kingdom capable of providing peace and modernity to the region. Thus, it focuses on the second segment, particularly between the 11th and 16th centuries -that is, from the incursion of Mahmud of Ghazni into South Asia to the Battle of Panipat-, with the objective of deconstructing the narrative of a Muslim era defined by political and economic decline. | es_VE |
