| dc.description.abstract | Hundun es una mítica entidad primordial asociada con el caos y al estado amorfo e indiviso del universo previo al proceso creativo; puede referirse a un ser legendario que no posee rostro, tiene cuatro alas y seis patas, y es considerada la deidad del caos cósmico. Representa, por consiguiente, el estado original del universo. En la literatura china aparece por primera vez en los clásicos de la época de los Estados Combatientes. El caos, como embrión, saco huevo, semilla, capullo o calabaza, es un símbolo mítico del tiempo paradisíaco de creación, tiempo del dào (道) antes del mundo humano profano.

It can also refer to a legendary being that is faceless, has four wings and six legs, and is considered the deity of cosmic chaos. It therefore represents the original state of the universe.
