dc.description.abstractUno de los motivos que se aprecia en la obra del artista plástico trujillano Asdrúbal Colmenarez es precisamente el tema del viaje. Consideramos que toda idea de periplo en cualquier tipo de arte es sinónimo de nostalgia y al mismo tiempo sinónimo de memoria. En el caso particular del viaje, quiero nombrar las telas de su exposición “Mare Nostrum”. Cuando miro estas obras me quedo detallando estos mapas imaginados que nos muestran diversas geografías tan llenas de nostalgia, y en vista de que estas cartografías están cubiertas de agua y tierra, de ilusiones y sueños, se puede decir asimismo, que arribar a estos territorios es como llegar a la amplia región de la imaginación. dc.description.abstract1One of the motifs that can be seen in the work from Trujillian artist Asdrúbal Colmenarezis precisely the theme of the journey. We consider that any idea of a journey in any kind of art is synonymous with nostalgia and at the same time synonymous with memory. In the particular case of the journey, I would like to mention the canvases in his exhibition “Mare Nostrum”. When I look at these works I am left detailing these imaginary maps that show us diverse geographies so full of nostalgia, and in view of the fact that these cartographies are covered with water and land, illusions and dreams, it can also be said that arriving at these territories is like arriving at the vast region of the imagination.es_VE
