dc.description.abstractNigeria, luego de iniciado el proceso de transición hacia la democracia en 1999 ha enfrentado desde el 2002 una nueva amenaza al norte del país, esta vez en Boko Haram. En este sentido, el objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar el impacto de esta organización a la institucionalidad nigeriana, prácticas violentas que condenan todo vestigio cultural procedente de occidente, lo que ha llevado al Estado nigeriano a redefinir su estrategia de seguridad ante el creciente desafío que esta supone a la estabilidad nacional y regional.es_VE
