dc.description.abstractSe presenta un análisis sobre el acoso escolar o “bullying” en el cual se trata de demostrar que ese hecho social es un delito sin sanción en la Republica Dominicana. Se parte de la definición de acoso escolar, sus características y diferencias con otros tipos de conductas. Además, se presenta una clasificación general sobre el acoso escolar, así como las principales consecuencias que deja el mismo en las victimas. Se realizó un análisis de la ley penal y civil de la Republica Dominicana a fin de conocer la tipificación y tratamiento dado en ese sistema legal a la figura del acoso en general y de manera específica las sanciones que la ley establece para el menor acosador. En las conclusiones se deja saber el vacío legal existente en el ordenamiento jurídico dominicano respecto del tratamiento dado a los menores que incurren en el acoso a sus compañeros en la escuela.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1An analysis on school harassment or “bullying” is presented in which it is tried to demonstrate that this social fact is a crime without sanction in the Dominican Republic. It starts from the definition of bullying, its characteristics and differences with other types of behaviors. In addition, a general classification of bullying is presented, as well as the main consequences that it leaves on the victims. An analysis of the criminal and civil law of the Dominican Republic is carried out in order to know the classification and treatment given in that legal system to the figure of harassment in general and specifically the sanctions that the law establishes for the minor harasser. The conclusions reveal the legal vacuum existing in the Dominican legal system regarding the treatment given to minors who harass their classmates at school.es_VE
