| dc.description.abstract | Uno de los aspectos característicos del régimen militar que predominó en Venezuela entre 1948 y 1958, fue la franca alianza entre el sector privado dedicado al negocio de la construcción y el Estado. La política de “concreto armado” puesta en práctica durante el período, si bien contribuyó a cimentar el paisaje urbano de Caracas y otras principales ciudades, de igual modo, representó un mecanismo de expansión de las actividades económicas concentradas en el sector del comercio y de los servicios. Desde la segunda mitad del siglo XX venezolano, la construcción privada devino en un importante usufructuario de la renta petrolera. | es_VE |

| dc.description.abstract1 | One of the characteristic aspects of the military regime that dominated in Venezuela between 1948 and 1958, was the free trade Alliance between the private sector engaged in the business of construction and the State. The "reinforced concrete" policy put into practice during the period, while it helped cement the cityscape of Caracas and other major cities, in the same way, represented a mechanism for expanding economic activities concentrated in the trade and services sector.
