Resumen

Marcel Roche nació en Caracas, Venezuela. Eminente científico, también fue gerente de la ciencia. Fue el director fundador del Instituto Venezolano de Investigaciones Científicas (IVIC) y presidente del Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (CONICIT), así como un fecundo escritor sobre temas de divulgación científica.
