| dc.description.abstract | La fuerza arrolladora de la globalización y la crisis de los modelos convencionales de interpretación del mundo rural, están acercando los enfoques hermeneúticos a los
territorios rurales, particularmente los indígenas, en los que son más evidentes los alcances culturales y simbólicos de la territorialidad. Este contexto sirve de
referencia teórica para ensayar una lectura etnoecológica del territorio indígena de Waramasen, apoyada en un diagnóstico territorial participativo y un diálogo de
saberes. Se busca lograr una interpretación del valor que reviste la territorialidad en la existencia material y la identidad cultural del pueblo Pemón, en el cuadro

territories, particularly to the indigenous systems, where cultural and symbolic scopes are more evident closer together. This context serves as a theoretical
reference for practicing an ethnological lecture of the Waramasen indigenous territory, supported in a participatory territorial diagnosis and a knowledge dialogue.
