dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación analiza aspectos militares de las fuerzas enfrentadas en la batalla celebrada en la ciudad de La Victoria del año 1902. En el plano táctico se consideraron: la organización de las fuerzas, el adiestramiento y la doctrina militar. Desde el punto de vista logístico se estudiaron los medios de apoyo sanitario, la alimentación de las tropas, vestuario y equipo individual, el transporte ferroviario y la función de mantenimiento. Se describió brevemente el mando de los conductores de tropas que lideraron la Batalla de La Victoria, y otras características propias de la institución castrense, como el sistema de reclutamiento y conscripción.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1This research examines the military aspects of the opposing forces in the battle held at the La Victoria city in 1902. At the tactical level were considered: organization forces, training and military doctrine. From a logistical point of view, we studied the means of medical support, troop nutrition, clothing and individual equipment, rail transport and the maintenance function. We briefly described the control of troop drivers who led "La Victoria" battle, and other characteristics of the military institution such as recruitment system and conscription.es_VE
