dc.description.abstractExiste un problema harto delicado, que consiste en el mutismo del mundo de la ingeniería a propósito de los desmanes del mundo corporativo contra la dignidad humana y la naturaleza. La evidencia correspondiente es demoledora. Aquí sobresale la precaria formación humanista en ingeniería, por lo que los ingenieros de hoy distan en mucho de ser ciudadanos del mundo. Así, hemos de buscar una solución a este problema en la transición copernicana del ingeniero pretendidamente tecnocrático al ingeniero convivencial. El reto concomitante es de grandes proporciones.es_VE

dc.description.abstract1There is a very delicate problem, which consists in the silence of the engineering world in regard to the outrages of the corporative world against the human dignity and the nature. The corresponding evidence is devastating. At this point, the precarious humanistic formation in engineering is outstanding, because of which the present engineers are far from the world citizenship. Thus, we ought to search a solution to this problem in the Copernican transition of the assumed technocratic engineer to the convivial engineer. The concomitant challenge is of great proportions.es_VE
