| dc.description.abstract | El desarrollo de la ciencia en Venezuela no se explica sin la existencia de la Asociación Venezolana para el Avance de la Ciencia (AsoVAC). La ocasión de su sesenta aniversario es propicia para hacer una reflexión sobre el nuevo escenario que le toca vivir hoy a la AsoVAC. Por una parte, identificando los cambios que se observan en la manera como se entiende la actividad científica a nivel de las nuevas tendencias de la producción del conocimiento. Y por
