| dc.description.abstract | El síndrome déficit de atención con hiperactividad es un trastorno
de base neurológica cuya frecuencia de aparición se ha incrementado
considerablemente en los últimos años. El impacto que este trastorno
ocasiona en las diferentes áreas de desarrollo del niño (a) y adolescente,
así como lo perturbador de su manifestación para aquellas personas que
conviven con quienes presentan el trastorno trajo como consecuencia la
apertura de una inmensa línea de investigación en torno a su etiología,
manifestaciones clínicas, diagnóstico y tratamiento. En este artículo se
pretende exponer algunos de los elementos más importantes aportados
por las disciplinas de la psicología, neurología y psicopedagogía en
